2024 Dance of Hope

The Dance of Hope is the longest-standing event of the Foundation with the inaugural event in 2005. At this event, middle and high school dance teams as well as college dance programs and dance studios come together to offer a night of hope through dance to families that are hurting. It is so special and unique because in all other scenarios when these groups are together it is strictly for competition. Even the Dance of Hope committee members would not usually be individuals working together. Collaborating for a cause brings out the best in everyone and this annual event has brought hope to hundreds of families through the artistic expression of thousands of dancers!

Youth Leadership Applications

Youth Program Mission

As a team, we bring awareness to life-threatening pediatric illnesses through various fundraising events, while inspiring other youth in the community to get involved.

The program’s primary goal is to develop student leaders with a philanthropic focus while helping them master key life skills. All members interact with and enrich the lives of children diagnosed with pediatric cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Team members, as a group, organize and execute various events focused on fundraising and awareness building in order to inspire their peers to get involved in their community. Both teams meet on a monthly basis to plan events and coordinate youth volunteer opportunities. The program is a one-season commitment from July 2024 – May 2025.

The Let It Be Annual Golf Tournament-RESCHEDULED

The Let It Be
Annual Golf Tournament

Date: Thursday, April 4, 2024
Time: Starts at 8:00 am
Location: El Prado Golf Course, Chino, CA

Annual Golf Tournament

Let It Be Golf

The shotgun start will begin at 8:30 am. Along the course there will be refreshments, fun activities and games, and lots of inspiration. Immediately following golf will be lunch, awards, raffles and a presentation..

Funds raised at the tournament benefit the Foundation’s mission of supporting Southern California families that have a child diagnosed and in treatment for a life-threatening illness. The number of families in need of assistance continues to grow, as does an increase of recurrences of past Let It Be kids. It is only through the help of committed sponsorships for our fundraising events that we can provide the level of services and support that helps to give normalcy to current and future Let It Be families. TOGETHER we are truly making a difference in the lives of sick children and their families!

Our first tournament was in 2007 we had 38 golfers and today we sell out well before tournament day!  This is a highly anticipated annual event so keeping it local, on same date each year (second Thursday of February) and being consistent has everyone returning and referring friends, colleagues and other businesses.

Companies often use the tournament as a business/client event for sponsors to show how they are engaging with a local non-profit.  So we continue to offer a great experience and share our mission and emphasize how each individual is essential to help provide support and services to our Let It Be families.
